Don't forget to put it in first gear as soon as the jetski is of the trailer. I forgot once and tried to pull out with full throttle because I was starting to sink in the mud. Unfortunately it was still in reverse and the result was a almost drowned and ran over buddy and a water level up to my feet despite a 6 inch lift and 33's. :pat:
Luckily I had the jetski to get help..
Nice how the colors seem to match your Surf.

Thanks for the comments guys......
@delboy - I got it from Towing Equipment, they are in Western Ind Est in Dublin. It was €200 cos the mounts for the lights are broken off. Cost €80 for a mate to do the welding. It took him 4 hours to cut and weld it to suit.
Not bad looking for under €300 though
Oh and the jetski is serious fun too.....

@ Luke, I was thinking of doing the Roger Brown bodylift, so I guess I will have to get the a-bar refitted once I do. More $$$
Joey, Yeah I think it's nicer than the Jaos, and a LOT cheaper. Plus it's unique.... no one else has one like it........I think
One problem though, the rear mounted spare on mine severly limits the lock with the jetski, especially on tight launch/recover areas. I was thinking of some kind of extension on the hitch on the trailer....... any ideas??
