my lift installed.. yet another lift pics thread

I just thought Id like to share my pics with all of you as well.. setup is 2.5 inch cornfed spacers up front with OME 891 springs and n86 shocks in the rear.

www.burtmanindustries.com hooked me up

Some rake associated hopefully it will settle when I wheel it this weekend.

looking to get some 285s as well but I looked at the clearence with my 265s between the tires and upper control arms and there is maybe half an inch to an inch there and I dont know if it will work.

Looks great! Do you ever make it up to Beech or Sugar Mountain in NC to snowboard?

I cant even get the other screws for my other tow hook to even screw in.. seems like when I got my tow hooks off the guy who used his gun must have stripped the inner threads... me and matt (localmotion) couldnt even get the tow hook bolts off.. I have another shackle so I should have that on once my other tow hook is in place

Hey, me and a group of friends go to Beech too. Never been to Sugar though. How do they compare?

Thinking about planning a trip to WinterPlace, WV: http://www.winterplace.com/

I have been too beech twice.. imo sugar is a bit better. a longer run to begin with.. the place to be is snowshoe.. Im gonna make some attempts to get up there and sleep in my rig for a night or two instead of the hotels.

and too be honest.. both beech and sugar are better then winterplace.. been to winter a couple too

really? so we shouldn't even bother w/ wp? Thanks. glad to know.

Yeah, hopefully we'll get a trip up to snowshoe as well. I've heard that's awesome.

I know Sugar and Beech are close, but never having been to Sugar, how close is it really? If you think Sugar's better, I'm up for trying that too. Beech doesn't really have a "long" run.

sugar is like 6 or 5 miles from beech.. 4 resorts all together.. sugar, beech, hawksnest, and applachian mt. hawks and app are smaller resorts.. sugar is the biggest. beech a veerrry close second. but one thing about beech, dunno if they are still doing this but beech has free lift tickets for guys on thursday.

That's cool. I dunno either though. We usually go up on a Thurs and come back on a Tues.

But that's the last time I do that. The weekends are so crowded up there that I've had to wait 30 mins in line just to get on the lift and then it takes less time to get down the moutain. Yet on a weekday or weekend night, you can just walk right up to the lift and ride up. Next time, I'm going to plan on arriving on a Sunday, boarding the week, and coming home on a Sat.

Oh and meant to ask you, how is the ride w/ the new lift on?

How 'bout updating your profile? I'm getting tired of going to your profile and still not seeing any of these lift and bumper pics!

(I'm too lazy to seach the threads for this stuff...plus I just wanted to bug you)

You're truck is lookin' to nice. Are you sure you really want the Ivan Stewart's? I think the five star pattern looks really good as is, especially w/ the muds on there.

no I dont.. i reallllly like my wheels as is. Which is why im probablly going to get some firestone desination mts here from my moms cousin who owns a tireshop.. good deals to get from him. something like 780 installed? tires are 165 online which become about 660 then about 90 in shipping which makes them 730 then 60 to get installed in a shop so i guess thats a good deal?
