In the back...

In my 2000 there is compartment in the cargo area for something on the passenger side with some clip straps and two braces. I mounted my maglite clips on the top part of those braces and snapped in my maglite still leaving lots of room for whatever the hell actually is supposed to go there.

The only time I'll ever need a flashlight is if I am getting out junk or changing a tire, both of which preferably requires STOPPING the vehicle, so I can get to it easily. No problemo.

Hope this helps!

I too am looking for ways to install a holder...the one screwed straight into the floorboard looks like a good setup.

The silicone idea was pretty good too.

Where is a good place to get the clips? I'm not sure if any place around here would sell them or not.

VERY good suggestions in this thread!

Does your driver or passenger seat have a pocket on the backside? If so, put it in there.
