Lift Plans

I am getting a 4Runner soon (selling my 01 Tundra) and want to lift it. Ive been doing a good bit of search and want to do 3 in spacers in the front. I dont want to do 3in in the back cause it will give me a forward rake. I was wondering if aftermarket shocks would give me any lift in the rear with stock coils? And would i ride back with stock shocks in the front and aftermarket in the rear? Oh, and 285 or 305 muds.

Shocks don't lift a truck. Unless maybe if you got some air shocks. I think you need to do a little more searching. If you want to do a lift at a reasonable price then check out toytec.com. Thay have some good lifts. If money isn'n issue then sonoransteel.com. If you want to go as cheap as possible then spacers are probably you best bet and maybe daystar might be worth checking out. I would def recommend staying away from spacers though. IMO just not worth it even just for looks. If you just want a slight lift and something that will handle great and look good doing it then Performance Products springs with tokico trekmasters (green) is my recommendation. Do a little more searching and see what others have tried and tested and then make a decision.
