Took out the old rusted non-functioning spare tire carrier today, and bolted in a new one. Also found out the 99+ frames use center support bars for the spare tire, where the 96-98 do not!
She is getting a detail and an undercoating tomorrow. Pics to follow!

So, more work has been accomplished!
Interior is now done, here are a few shots of the now-complete right side and a view from the back:
And the front lights are wired up. Off:
On!:
As you can see, this is the only exposed wiring, wrapped neatly in two layers of sheathing:
Ran the wires straight into the fuse block, hidden from view:
And its all controlled by this FACTORY switch from a 1989 Toyota Van:

So got the exhaust changed out today. 7 Years of Ohio and Michigan winters turned the 14mm exhaust bolts into 10mm round heads. I couldn't even begin to hope to get a wrench on there.
Luckily it was all still factory, so I cut the old bolts out, and just so happened to have a 98 that I grabbed a new bracket and all 4 bolts from. Bolted up and runs quiet as can be!

All clean!
As requested, here are the finished pics of her.
Im actually redoing the front bumper herculiner as we speak, so imagine it with a really well done front too. Shes a real gem, and has come a long way from where it started!

Here is a look at the new door panels, sans herculiner. Notice the WORKING cupholder? LOLOLOL Jealous are you? Good!
THere are front mats for it now, but I bought a set of BRAND NEW mats from the dealership that I plan on putting in right before I sell it. In the mean time, the used up front mats will keep the carpet clean.

Good job. The blue plug wires I don't mind as they are not visible. The front grille and tails however are a bit iffy. Swap them out(worth spending the extra $100 or so. If I lived the US i would give you a replacement grille for pennies)The more standard looking the more appeal to a wider range of potential purchasers. As it stands your only appealing to college students(no offence meant!) Not a fan of the stickers either.

VERY nice save! man you did a great job all around. i'd say stick with what it's got for now, if you get some lowballers that complain about the grille etc, maybe upgrade if something cheap comes your way, but now i wouldn't throw any more money into it, it looks great the way it is. there's a point where you start putting money into something where it doesn't increase your profit any more and i think you've reached it, unless you get lots of neg feedback from buyers about certain things.
