Since I did this over a year ago, I cannot remember what size I used!

You're best bet is just to order the cooler. It comes with some hose. See what size that is, then just go to your parts store locally and buy some there. Summitracing is where I bought mine from (I think) They should say what sizes they used.

As for drive, I could not tell a difference. I did it because I am running 35" tires...and it just makes me feel a lot better.

This thread was from over a year ago. No, it doesnt make a difference how it drives. There just good to have as far as keeping your tranny cool. Especially, if you do any towing or even oversized tires. Order up and put one on!

I agree with SC4 on the hose. Just get it and then go get the hose. You can get it at any autoparts place.

Cool thanks guys. One question, is it bad nettiquit to revive an old post for a question like mine? I did realize it was old but figured it was okay since I searched instead of creating a new post

Not really, I just found that it tends to get a bunch of people asking questions to the original thread starter. When it's over a year old, somtimes you'll never get an answer. You could just start a new one to keep that from happening.

If you have input for the original poster or questions specifically about what they did, then no. If you are posting just to say "me too" and not really add anything to the thread or if you have generic questions that might be addressed in a new thread, then a new thread might be your best bet.

You run a risk bumping an old thread, the participants might not be be paying attention, remember the thread or even be around anymore. However, if you post a new thread about a subject that has been covered in 4,745,343,436 other threads, that is not polite either.

Use your best judgement. It sounds like you put some thought into it and that is 99% of the battle...

Not to mention a lot of questions were reguarding how the setup I used would work. Well, its been over a year and have had no problems with it moving or making any noise. I put a foam spacer towards the bottom to keep it from hitting the main radiator.

The plastic "zip ties" they give you should be sufficient, but, I felt weird for using them, so I didn't I used them on the smaller PS cooler though.

honestly, asking in old posts is a good thing to do since it brings them back to the front of the line and you arnet cluttering up yotatech with unneeded threads. of course if your question isnt answered starting a new thread to ask is obviously allowed, i just wish more people would search instead of asking "will 285"75"16's fit on a stock 3rd gen... its like, wow the most asked question on yotatech and no one searches for it....
