These are the only two photos I have of them here at work. This is a primed and after painting in the garage.
Damn dude, nice job!!! Looks sweet, I don't think I would be able to get past the cutting part, and I have 0 welding skills, I usually trick one of my friends into doing it, but this seems like a little more than I would be able to trick someone into. Still waiting for a response from ToyotaFiberglass.com, and if anyone here could hook me up, that would be awesome.

Thanks. They only took about a day to cut, mold some metal in place and weld. A door can be done over a weekend for me.

The doors, I got at two differnent yards. Doors are hard to find where a yard is willing to sell you an empty door, here anyways. I can post more of steps when I get home if anyone is interested. I only have a few pictures at work.

This doors came out really nice. Loved the open feel to the truck with the half doors. I even made canvas with jeep plastic windows for poor weather. Not sure I want to do this with my 3rd gen yet. Maybe once I put the solid axle under it and wheel it some more.
here are a few more. ** Sure miss my truck ***

damn dude, really sharp looking! I like the look a lot, if you had any directions, or could offer some advice, I would appreciate it. Don't think I'd be willing to attempt it myself, but I am up for giving it a shot, could learn a little while I'm at it. Any pics of the molding, or inside of the door? How did you cut it, with a sawzall? and did you just weld on steel plates to go over the cut, and seal up the top of the door? Thanks again, nice truck, if I was near WY, I'd be looking for ya, anywhere near Yellowstone, I was out in West Yellowstone a few years ago, snowmobiling.

After this thread, this may end up in the fab department........

Here's some picture of a set of half doors made last year for an 88' we built-up at TDS.

Note the placement of the door latch

The truck went from bone stock to this in 15 hours of total work time.

nice, I like the placement of the door latch a lot. I am seriously contemplating doing this myself, just got to find a set of doors. This would be a summer project. Doesnt look too too bad though, if I can trick someone into welding up the top for me, I think it would definately be a go. How did you cut the actual door shell? Just a sawzall, and I guess you could cover up any errors with that plate that goes over the top. Nice job finishing that truck in 15 hours, its been 2 years, and I still havent finished mine Awesome info. Thanks!
