Thank you guys for pointing me in the right direction and I look forward to many happy miles with you. I don't know about modding it. All I will probably do are lights and light bar (front bar, not roof), rock sliders, and BFG All Terrains. Oh and a good stereo. Anyone know if Randy Ellis' Tacoma Light bars will work on 4Runners?

Thanks!!!!
in my opinion that is the most beautiful color for 4Runners

Yes, a new headunit would be good. Check out the Sony MX series. (I think its MX) Those have very good veriety of settings, also a loudness option that most units dont have. (If you have or plan on getting subs then check into it)

I have an Alpine 9815 in my truck right now and really enjoy it. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Alpine 9855 in this so I can use it with my Ipod. After the tint and H/U I am going to probably buy some Elemental Designs subs/big sub for some thump.

Ok my dad is bringing the truck back Tuesday, its gonna have around 70k miles when it gets here. The carfax is clean but I still don't know its exact maintanance history, so what should I look at and check for when I get my hands on it.

Check the skidplates, and the underside of the rear axle. If they look super dinged up, scratched and badly scraped, you can bet it spent a lot of time offroad.
