anyone installed something like that on a third gen? Are they available for third gens? I have an '04 chevy 2500 4x4 that I'm thinking about getting a programmer for, anyone heard any negatives?

Thnx!

I don't think hypertech has a product for the 3rd gen 4runner. Someone, please let me know if I'm wrong. I had one on a ford once. I can say the chip added power for sure. Of course they make one for a Chevy and I think you'll be pleased with it. I've only heard good things about the power programers.

PS where is your bumper? Perhaps an old pic? Are you getting a new one. I'm iterested in learning about 3rd gen bumper options

right now I have the factory one on but I'm in the process of having the guy who build my sliders fab up a rear bumper and then we'll do the front. I'll be posting pics for sure when they're done.
