Highlander upgrades...
Now be nice guys.... it's not my rig. My SO is getting a Highlander, and I want to know if ANYBODY makes anything for it. Suggest a brush guard and I will reach through the screen and smack you.

Oh... you mean a fake Highlander. Not the really cool '99-00 Highlanders. But I'm with Brian... get some 22" dub dubs. Seriously though you can get a TRD exhaust for it not sure what else is out for it yet.

I know what you were talking about. I was just giving you ˟˟˟˟˟ about it. I should have said "the really cool '99-'00 4Runner Highlanders" Except for the basic stuff like floor mats and the like; the TRD exhaust is about it. I think Borla has one but I am not sure.

Consider yourself smacked... brushguards are a HUGE waste of $$$... they should be called shopping cart guards... ugh.
Thanks anyway!

I'm pretty sure we're going w/ the 6 cylinder, but I haven't researched the Highlander enough. All I know in Toyota is the Supra, the MR2, the 4Runner and the LC. (see my sig) Other than that, I've never touched another Toyota product... ok.. maybe a Corolla a time or two, but that's it .... oh... wait... I used to own an Avalon, but I never did any wrenching on it, save for an oil change every 3k...
We don't need more speed or more noise necessarily, just wanting to make it her own, maybe a mild lift (if possible) and some slightly more agressive tires so it doesn't look out of place in a driveway w/ a LC on 38's a 4Runner on 35's and a Yota truck on 39's....

You could put air bags all the way around. It could lift it when you drive then slam it when you park, and give you a really sweet ride. Ok it wouldn't slam it but it would lower it and would definately be one of a kind.

keep it stock and just tint. I've seen a few fixed up highlanders and they just looked out of place. You either bling it out or leave it alone. I think if you make it look offroad capable, people will just think "wannabe". That or go dark paint and anti bling with some dark wheels. That would look different and clean.

Get a black V6 Limited with AWD. Get some gunmetal 17" sequoia wheels off of ebay and wrap them with some dueler AT revos. Tint the windows, and MAYBE do up to a 1" coil lift just to clear the tires better. That's it...
