HELP Wheels dont fit on 97 tacoma
I have a 97 Tacoma and i just purchased rock crawler series 97 wheels 15x8 and they dont fit up against the caliber i dont no what to do should i got for the return route and the guy i spoke to at 4wheelparts.com said that i would have to look into the alloy wheels to find any that would fit is that ture and also would wheel spacers fix this problem or not. Last i got the wheels cause i am going to purchase bfg m/t 33x10.5 would they fit on the stock wheels or no

If your Tacoma came with factory 16" wheels, then spacers probably will not help, as the calipers are made to fit inside a 16" wheel. If your truck came with 16's, then your spare should be a 16" steelie.
As for the other question, I will defer to someone with more knowledge on that subject, but I would venture to say no.

i had the same problem with my 1996 4runner. I wanted the same wheels and after 3 weeks of them trying to fit different wheels on with no success, they gave me $190 a piece American Racing teflon wheels. How wide are your stock wheels? they should fit.

I've read that the steel wheels on 15" Tacoma's will stil have problems fitting.
I think the wheelers offroad versions work fine though. You may have better look searching on TTORA for a better answer.
How much are they hitting? You can always grind down the outside of the calipers.

more specific info on where its hitting would help. if its on the outside of the caliper, new wheels will be needed. if its hitting the outer face of the caliper, a 1/4" spacer from wheelers may get it to fit...
