Got my alternator!
I finally got my Mr. Alternator 150am alt. All I can say is WOW! My lights don't dim nearly as bad when the bass hits anymore, my panel lights even seem brighter! I can't imagine installing it without the body lift. Even my alternator whine is gone!!!
One question: I have 4ga from the a battery back for my two amps. Should I upgrade the wiring at the alt to 4 or 0 Gauge? Grounds too of course.

0 is good cuz then you don't have to worry about upgrading any more power lines.
Especially have 0 for the ground and the starter would mean a clean contact and ensures all the power to flow smoothly
Once you start adding up lots of goodies you'll be glad that you did.

If you go with "0" you don't have to worry about ever needing to upgrade again.

But you also won't be pumping out 150 amps all the time so the draw shouldn't be much worse than your stock distributor.
