Floor Lighting Installed

This is an easy cool and useful mod that takes about $10 and an hour to do a good job. I used 2 red CCLs from www.svc.com they are really cheap and for computers but run 12v and dont use much power. I should have taken pictures of the install but its sooo easy theres no need to. For a 12v line i spliced the cigarette lighter line and made the wires a little longer. Yes it still works with both running. I did this because it was the easiest 12v line that i could find since i dont have a multimeter and it turns off when the keys out. After that i took some tape and taped the bulbs up in the footwells. (importnt! do not splice the wires from the bulbs to the inverter that will mess them up. Putting the bulbs in the drivers side was a lot harder than the passenger side because of the pedals. I put the switch as shown near the wheel. I may get a lighted switch eventually but this one will do for now. Very bright and defintly looks cool. If you are looking for a cool cheap and easy interior mod i reccomend this.

The lights take a little bit to warm up so remeber than when you turn them on for the first time. As you can tell these are very bright and i wouldn't reccomend driving with them on.

That looks good man, I have been thinking about that for a little while. I would probaly go with the blue (my interior is gray), but the red looks good with your interior.

yes and no. Neon lights suck up a decent amount of juice and are really hot..not something that you would want by your feet.. They have a electro lumiecent powder or something in them..they make pretty much no heat even after hours of use..the inverter gets warm at that. they are also a lot cheaper than neons
