First Post!

Hello everyone, just introducing myself. I'm also on T4R.org, but thought I'd join here too since I find lots of good info on this forum as well. I'm a former Army guy who's back in school taking prereqs for grad school. Been into trucks and off roading awhile, but this is my first Toyota and I love it! A little history...

My first SUV was a '04 Xterra 2wd. I know, major mistake for off roading...couldn't get anywhere:

Then went to a full size pickup, an '08 Titan Crew Cab 4x4 w/ Procomp 6" lift, Radflos, Bilsteins, and Eibach coils:

The Titan was too big for me (9 mpg!), so sold it and searched for a good used 4x4.

Found this forum and was convinced I had to go with a 3rd gen t4r. Bought this off my buddy who got it at an auction a few years prior. Needed some work, but was overall in great shape. It's a '96 Limited 4x4 in Anthracite Metallic (no locker):

How she sits today (OME lift, Wranglers):

I already have a number of mods. I'll prob post a build thread eventually. Looking forward to contributing and checking out y'alls rigs! This forum has been a great help already.

Sweet looking Toyota, and Nissans! I've always like the Xterras, but don't tell anybody are you hi-lifting from a slider or the rocker panels?

Zooming in on the pic I believe there's some sliders tucked in there. I'd hope anyways. Lol

Yep, those are sliders. This was just after I welded on the non-kickout sliders by Savage Offroad. Roy does really great work.

And, yes, I liked the Xterra and prob would've kept it if it was 4x4. But I definitely like my 4Runner better. Plus there's WAY more aftermarket support for the Toyota.
