Electrical Issue with turn signal...
Has anyone ever had an issue on their vehicle where the head lights turn off when using the turn signal?
I've got a '98 4Runner SR5 that has start doing that in the last few months. At first I thought I pulled the lever strangely and moved it in between the high and low beam position, but I don't think that's the case.
I can't make it happen consistently to figure out if there is a certain pressure point that causes the head lights to go out. Fortunately, they turn back on right away (perhaps 1 sec delay at the most).
Does this sound like a faulty switch or worn wire in the steering wheel column?
Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.
Rick
