Would be cool if the folks from GA and farther south could meet up with us folk from NC. I guess that's not really on the way is it? Would you all take I-85 to I-95 and then up north? Would be sweet if we (if I go) could go up together as one big group.

Well, have fun.

BTW, I should have my CB in by then. I have it now, just have to run the wiring and buy the hood bracket.

lol. we'd catch alot of envious stares driving up in a convoy of 5-10 tight 4Runners. what would be a good place for the NC guys to meet and also to meet the SC and GA guys. Im in central NC on the SC border so I can drive most places to meet as long as their north and not straight west/east.

I dont really have a prefernec where we meet up as long as I don't have to drive any further South to meet up. We jst need to wait and get some final prices and a final list of who is going and a direct route that we can all see and find places to hook up long that route. In other words alot of planning and finallizig is in order.

I think I could be in...

Btown,

How far is the camping at Delaware water gap from Paragon? My wife and kids want to do a camping trip and I'm going to meet up with some friends/relatives at some point over the summer. That weekend works for me.

Maybe we can all camp and make it a real jamboree!

I need to get some more mods done by then...

I'm kinda on your way...

I'm kinda near 80 (about an hour or so from my house). If I go, we can hook up. My family will be in tow though...

Still working on my parents. Hopefully by then I'll have my SAW Racerunners, Downey springs, and Bilstein shocks. Been saving up money for a while now. I love this truck.

Oh and...
Camping sounds great to me too. Haven't slept in a tent in over a year. Everyone in NC, what section of the state are you in? and whats a good city near the central or northern end of the state that we can meet at? Charlotte- central lattitude almost touching SC.

Well, the best place to meet would be on I-95 wherever people join up is another question. We could have multiple stops. I'm about 7min from I-95 so its a straght shot for me. I don't think its that much longer (you will want to check this) to take 40 all the way to 95 rather than taking 85... b/c we could meet in there if thats the case, otherwise you guys should meet in the raleigh area and take 85 up and I'll (me and anyone else taking 95 all the way up) join where 85 and 95 join.

95 or85, it's all good to me. I'm a min from either 85 or 40 so I canget to whereever I need to be. 95 would be fine to I can be there without a problem. The NC crew could just all get together somewhere else and then hook up with the rest of you guys coming from the South or whatever. I'm just throwing ideas out, it's a vaction and a time to relax to me I don't care about travel time or gas whatever, it's fine with me, I jus let go and worry about things afterwards. I could do anywhere on 95, just as long as I don't hav to go South of where I'm at to get there, and I can just go East, West or North. I'm flexable.

Let's hook up

Firefighter, I'm game for a mini convoy. Maybe we can get PAhydrohead too. Crap, who's the other Burgh Runner on here - I can't remember.

Obviously, my better half has veto power - especially since she'll need to understand that I'll be off with the guys, sloggin around...

I'm about 5 min from I95 and about 40 miles north of the SC border. Meeting somewhere near where I40 comes to I95 would work out great for me. I think there is a rest stop near there. I still don't know if I can go though. Anybody have any prices yet?

Have fun all.

Yeah, right. At least I won't get any stares. lol. I haven't done jack to my Runner. Looks as bone stock as bone stock can look. Maybe if I get $$ by then, I'll have a few rims or something. lol.

My friend wants to go too, so it looks like I may be able to go. I'll just have to see about the price.

Anyhow, as soon as somebody has more info, please post.
Have fun all.
DH6twinotter

BTW, I'm whipping up a decal for the fun of it. I'll post it on here in a bit to see what you all think. I'll just have to figure out how to do that.
