drivers door mirror

hey all, while washing my Runner, i pushed the mirror forward, and noticed, seems like a spring broke, anyone got a diagram of the mirror ? its a 99 or any ideas ?

you sure it wasnt just the noise of it flexing? mine make an awful creaking noise (even a pop) when folded in.

yea, mine made the same noise, but would lock back in place, now it wont lock back in place, kinda loose.

well i think my mirror is done, ive seen the at car-parts.com from about $75 up to $275, i talked to one dealer, he said they just replace the whole mirror, not the spring,

yea, opening those things is a pain the butt as is. they just replace it.
