Dreaded 330 325 code Knock Sensor
Im not sure what do do anymore.... So far I have taken off the intake manifold on my 95 3.4L and replaced both knock sensors and the wiring harness going to the sensors. I then put everything back the way it came off and started the engine and no code was thrown i read on some posts somewhere that the knock sensors don't kick in till 3000 rpms and no codes were thrown... Feeling relieved I drove it down the road about 1 mile and sure enough the Check engine light came back on. The codes were 330 and 325 again and I have no idea what could cause it anymore. Someone else mentioned new spark plugs and I've changed those... changed the oil.. all the basic's but does anyone know the fix for this??? Engine sounds great and I don't hear a pinging or Knocking at all so could the ECM be bad??? Anyways the engine has 150K on it and we put a new timing belt on and Im just out of idea's of what could be wrong. Any help would be much appreciated..
