Have to,
Just to see if all my rusted parts are still attached.
Then when I walk back to it, Need to make sure that nothing has fallen off while I was away...

Everytime I see this thread pop up I think of the line John Travolta has in Face/Off:
"I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave..."
Classic!

ROFLMFAO....
I dont know why, but I do that too. I have an alarm so Im not looking back to check that it's locked. (You cant see the locks anyhow with the 5% tint.) And I have never left my lights on courtesy of that toyota SQUEEL when they are on, the door open, and the keys out of the ignition.
Next to mirrored buildings/glass Im ALWAYS checking out my rims and tires! BFGoodwrench AT ko's Ditto for the rare car that acutally has a reflective finish - then I get to check out my truck from a car's perspective!
Even though my truck is 14 years old, every scratch and dent still hurts. But right now, the finish is the last of my trucks worries....

You, guys are nuts! Nah, I do it too. Usually when I'm coming back to my truck but definitely when I pass a big reflective bulding. When I used to go to the gym i'd park it right in front of the window so I could look at it between sets. NUTS!!

Pathetic
You guys are pathetic...looking back at your rig and sitting in a restaurant so you can see it! :pat:
How neglected your rig must feel that you ONLY do such things and don't tuck it into the garage every night like I do!

GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY! Throw the book at me, I check out my 4runner everytime I leave it. Sometimes I even give it a walk around. I know where every mirrored building in town is, and always make sure I drive by them. I've only let one other person every drive my 4runner, and sat there and watched it leave and come back. The sound from the exhaust and the whine from the supercharger give me goosebumps!! It's badass.
