Daystar lift how's this price
I posted this on 4x4 earlier, but I wanted to see the response I got here too.
Yeah i know all of ya'll say go with SAW but I'm a poor Alabama White boy. I was at the dealer today and this salesman sees my runner and tells me that he has a used daystar coil spacer lift he would like to sell that he had on his 97 for about 2 months. He says he'll let it go for 200 bucks, what do ya'll think, is this a good deal?

I know absolutely zilch about Daystar except for the fact that its the most popular lift kit you can find on ebay.
That in itself gives me doubts about the stuff. But I know extremely little on lifts as it begins with, let alone specific names.
Sorry

For another $80 you can get OME coils from Mike at Extremeoffroad that will actually give your more suspension travel and a tighter ride. Not just raise your stock suspension.
Just my $.02, its what I did

OME-891 coils and OME-N93(?) shocks in front - ~2" lift (~$240)
OME-981 coils and OME-N86 shocks in rear -2.5" lift (~$240)
total around 480 before shipping.
the daystar is ok but if you want to do offroading type stuff and don't want to spend the money on the OME setup, then try a Cornfed lift, they are spacers but they are steel or aluminum as opposed to polyurethane. here's Cornfed's site:

a couple hundred bucks can get you his good lift spacers and then later you can put on new shocks. still the ome solution above is more cost effective and a better option.
if you have a '97? and the shocks are original than it is about time to replace them anyway. what year is your's? your sig doesn't say.

let me ask one thing, is the reason you want this spacer kit to fix the sagging butt 4runner problem? or do you want a full lift front and rear? if you are trying to fix the sagging butt then you want stiffer spring like OME's (980's instead of 981's) or the ones from performance products. otherwise go back to my above post.
