Dude That Bites! I have had pretty good luck with them in the past and gotten free shipping on bigger orders. I have often recommended them to others so this makes me sad. Not to play devil's advocate here, but maybe they are starting to sell what is by the book to cover their butts. Anyway that's still messed up. Hope it works out the way you want.
Best of Luck

It would likely cost them more the appear then to just do the right thing in the first place. Don't forget to let the Better Business Bureau in on this - if no one complains nothing gets done...

Let me tell you the dirty little secrets of 4 wheel parts.

Company policy when an ERROR occurs either in shipping and/or installation is to make the customer absorb the cost of re-shipping and/or rental car expenses.

How do I know, the President of the comapny did it to me while we were standing in front of the main corporate headquarters.

In addition. 4 Wheel Parts and the BBB had practiced (CONCELAMENT OF COMPLAINTS) by transferings actual filed coplaints against stores all over the U.S to the (Main Corprate Address in Compton, CA)

When I filed my complant against one of their stores for, "Improper Installation," the address was magically changed from that store to the Main Corporate Headquarters in Compton, CA.

This type of deceit/trickery gave all their other stores a near, "Perfect/Spotless" Satisfactory Record.

As you look at Better Businness Bureau Company Reliability Report for the Main Headquarters in in Compton, CA at www.labbb.org/ it states the following:

4 wheel Parts has an "Unsatisfactory Record" with the Better Business Bureau when it comes to answering consumer complaints along with the following below:

*Delivery Issues
*Difficulty obtaining Refunds
*Overcharging:
*POOR INSTALLATION
*Poor Customer Service
*Billing Disputes
*Failure to Deliver Ordered Merchandise /Missing Items/Incorrect Items

The Main 4 Wheel Parts Corporate Office does not have workshops to perform any-kind of, "Installations."

The Main Corporate Headquarters takes orders, has offices, and shipes out parts and supplies to all of its stores.

In addition, one of their sotes had their license violated by the STATE CONSUMER AFFAIRS BUREAU of Automotive Repairs
several years ago. They once again engaged in (CONCELAMENT OF VIOLATION) by changing the name
under which the license is held from the founder of the company, Gerorge Adler....to the current
President (son Greg Adler).

So, what's the point trying to look up a companies violations, unless
you're experienced like me.

Their PRO COMP TIRES may also have a very (LOW) maximum speed limit of 94 mph, which many drivers
these days drive occasionally developing SEVERE tire pulls and bulges in their tires.

This is company policy and the DIRTY LITTLE SECRET

Alright... I'm on hold with 4wheelparts right now. They are telling me that there is a new company making the tech 1s and they will hit my brake calipers. Is this BS? If its true, then I will make them give me another wheel of MY choice. Any ideas?

All they said they could do is give me 50 bucks and I keep these rims, or send them back and get a refund. I am NOT sending them back, i dont want to get screwed. 50 bucks suck! What should I do? Is there anywhere I can get black rims that fit?

Talking Rims

Did you even test fit the rims to see if they hit the caliper or not?

No, because they say these fit, thats why they sent me them and not the wrong ones. Should I somehow cancel my credit card order, or tell them I will file a claim against them or something to scare them?

The list goes on and on.
And you forgot that I had waskilly's on my 99 for about 3 days too. Just grind the calipers and put them on and be done with it - I didn't have to grind mine, so maybe you're lucky and you won't have too. Oh, and get your $50 from them.

what to do

You want results? Ben Dryer is National Sales Director for 4Wheelparts. He is the only one there who will take care of this is a prompt manner. I bought a 4 inch procomp suspension. the rear fell on a 6 week backorder, i made some calls. got them in 2 days.

On the reciept it says the 51 Series dont work with 97 Toyota 4runners!!! WTF, theres about 10 people on this site that have them!! I was supposed to go 4wheeling monday with my new tires and rims, guess I'll have to stay stock until I get this settled. Do ya'll think they will let me swap these out at the 4wheel parts store in Denver, or do i have to ship these back to CA? BEWARE OF 4WHEEL PARTS!!!
