Hey everyone. Just got back last night (well, this morning @ 4 AM) from Denver. Starting just south of Flagstaff, I noticed a vibration under acceleration, but I was almost home, and dead tired. This morning I take off to work, and the vibration is there, and definitely noticeable.

From 55-70 the vibration is an audible "mmmmm", only on acceleration. Once I get home, I notice there is cv grease on both sides, in the same places, but the boots are not torn. When I did a search, someone posted that after lifting the boots can start to move and this leaks grease. The solution is easy, but I don't know if they shafts are ruined, or can be salvaged.

It's just a vibration, no clicking, no tear in the boots at all. Could I just re-grease and go, or should I just replace the shafts?

Or is there something else going on here?

retighten the clamps holding the boots on and inject the boots with greese using a syring.
