Code Reader for 3rd Gen.
I want to buy a code reader. Has anyone had experience with using a code reader on a 3rd gen?
Can you recommend a model?

The Scangauge II is pretty nice. http://www.scangauge.com/
If you take out your ashtray (At least in 99+, not sure about earlier 3rd gens) and make a simple bracket you can bolt it right in the hole left by the ashtray... Sorry about the quality... they're from my phone.

I use an ELMSCAN ISO USB. You can get one for $60 at www.scantool.net. Works great and since it's USB you don't need to worry about serial ports on laptops.
