Cleaning MAF

Since I am new here, please forgive me if I am being retarted.

I wanted to do some PM on my 4Runner, since I have been having idling problems. I was going to clean the MAF, all of the instructions and pics that I have seen show that the MAF comes off with 2 screws. If I am not mistaken, mine does not. It does not look like any of the pics that I have seen. Here is a photo of what I think is mine.

Unclamp it then take it out. Once it's out you should see the two screws you are supposed to remove to the the MAF out of it's housing.

There are 2 different MAF styles....

96-98 the MAF is molded as part of the intake tube
99-02 the MAF is removeable from the intake tube

This thread will help with your type of MAF:

Glad I found this thread.
I was about to try to rip out the rectangular sensor from the air tube since I thought mine was like the 99+

Now I see it's the jet engine looking thing in the middle of the tube.
