Question Check codes and VSC lights on after tranny install?? Any ideas??

Picked up my 01 Limited tonight from the local Scaamco, so glad to finally have it out of there. I had a used tranny shipped to them out of another 01 with 36K mi on it. Started up truck tonight at shop, and saw both VSC and VSC Trac lights were on as well as my check engine light. Truck shifted ok, but seemed a little firm or shuddery sometimes from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to third. Guy at shop earlier today called and said it was throwing a P1760 code, Line Pressure Linear Issue. Said it may go away? I picked truck up and sure enough I see all the lights. Whny he wouldn't take care of this before letting me pick the truck up is beyond me. Anyone know of this code, what it could possibly be or how to get those 3 lights off? The truck is ok I think, but the 1st to 2nd shift is pretty firm, almost like a slight kicking when it shifts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Found this by searching the site, it looks as if it has to do with some type of solenoid?? These look to be around $70.00 bucks or so. Is it ok to drive truck with this code, or if I have a bad solenoid, can it hurt anything internally. Def. don't want to screw anything up with a fresh but used tranny I just had installed!!

As far as the OBDII codes, and which solenoid to check for each code, check the shift solenoid valve No. 1 when DTC P0750 (Shift Solenoid ”A” Malfunction) is output, check shift solenoid valve No. 2 when DTC P0755 (Shift Solenoid ”B” Malfunction) is output, check the shift solenoid valve SL when DTC P0770 (Shift Solenoid ”E” Malfunction) is output, and check the shift solenoid valve SLT when DTC P1760 (Linear Solenoid for Line Pressure Control Circuit Malfunction) is output.

I would get under the truck and check to make sure all your electrical connections are plugged in ontop of the tranny. There are so many on that wiring harness it's really easy for someone to miss one. After you do that, then start replacing solenoids .

Thanks, I may take a look this afternoon. Can it damage the tranny, if in fact I need one of these solenoids to drive it this way? I understand it is an electrical part, but can it internally damage anything by driving. If so, I may be without a car for the weekend. I'm pretty sure Aamco did not eleborate on the code that was thrown to me, because they pretty much knew they weren't getting any more of my business.
