Cabin air filter

there should be a filter that you replace, might be located behind the dash requiring some screws to come out. on my buddy's bmw, its behind the glovebox and to the left, pain in the ass to get to, and to replace it, in part of the reinstalling procedure, you actually break part of it to get it back in crazy german care makers. probably not much of a help, but main point is there should be one, and yes you can replace it.
