Better than OEM CV Joint Boots

Hey Guys,

I was browsing thru my NWOR Catalog and they have some aftermarket CV Joint boots for the IFS trucks covering the whole range from 86-02. I don't have a picture to show you, but I will try to put one up by Friday. It will be black and white as that is what is in the catalog.

Anyway, they are made to deal with more extreme angles. You can tell by looking at the design of the fins that this is so. Also, the material they are made from is supposedly superior to what is currently offered. These are engineered specifically for the Toyota trucks.

Parts #'s and prices:

86-95 - NS70960 - $30.65 per side
96-02 - NS70965 - $30.65 per side

I have not personally tried these, but when it comes time to replace mine, I will be looking at these boots. Each kit will do one axle. They come with grease and the securing straps. Their phone # is 360-676-1200

Hope this information is useful for someone.

Cool, I'd possibly be interested in those, ever since having to replace my drivers side CV axle due to the boot tearing, I'm kind of paranoid now, lol.

That sounds good but its too late for me. I got a Genuine Toyota kit # 04438-35022 for $40 including straps and grease. The previous set tore on one side in a freak loose differential incident. The other side is still going strong. There is no way to tell if they are the original ones that have gone 200,000 miles so far. I wouldn't be suprised to learn that they are original with manual hubs. If its good enough for Toyota its good enough for me. The manual hubs are the key though. Its tough to wear out stock CV boots with no suspension lift no cranking of the Tortion bars and manual hubs.
