ALL-PRO redesigning HI-Steer kit

Recently I helped a freind install All-pros Hi Steer kit and on completion we notice that the center link would hit the oil pan on his 81',22r, 3" lift before it would bottom out at the bump stops. We called All Pro and spoke with Jay and once he was convinced that everything was installed to there specs he had us drive to there store in Hemet so they could have a look. After a few minutes of looking over the truck Jay said that he had the same problem on his truck and that the driverside leaf spring would also hit the IFS steeringbox pitmen arm. He explained to us that All-Pro was thinking of redesigning the kit and that this has only recently come to there attention. We were also told that this is not a problem if you have more then 3"-4" of lift. Hats off to Jay at All-Pro for his honesty. :pat:
