Talking 98 Tacoma 2wh. 5lug lift?

I'm a 68 yr. old who has a 98 Tacoma 2wh. drive 5lug and auto trans. that I would like to lift for 30x9x15. I would like to install a locrite also. FabTech and Downey have kits. Has anyone out there did this or part of this?
It would be used for beach work and later passed on to a grandson. I have in my passed years had both 2 whl. and 4 whl. used on the beaches on the east coast.

You shouldn't have to lift at all for 30x9 tires... Less its a lowered Tacoma. I think I heard that you need at least 16" wheels to clear the brake calipers though

Is it a "Pre-Runner" or standard Tacoma? It sounds like you have a standard Tacoma, in which case you will need a little lift to clear 30x9.50x15's. I think Fabtech would be the place to look.
