97 4runner Limited

Alrighty, here is the deal. I have a 97 Limited Runner, and every time it rains the driver side floor board gets soaking wet. Has anyone had this issue? If so what was the culprate? Mind you it doesn't have to be driven to fill the floor with water, just from sitting in the driveway.

Thanks for the input.

Its a grommet on your firewall. Its under your hood about 14" down and 3" from the driver side corner of your firewall. Someone pushed mine out a little to put a wire through and I would have a wet floor after a rain.

˟˟˟˟ man, I've had it about a year and a half. I tried to sell it to a buddy to help him and his family out, but didn't get paid so I repo'd it. Been driving it for a week or so and when the rain started I noticed the puddling issue. It's pretty clean, I'll get some pics taken and post them up along with some pics of the 82 as it sits so far, I'm not sure that I'll ever get done upgrading that one, lol.

I am thinking about SAS'n the Runner and making it a wheeler too. Not sure yet though.

Actually I have no clue when the timing was done last, so that's probably something I should do.

...That grommet is only 6" down on the driver side of the firewall, not 14"...
