Question 3rd Gen's and Rust

How much rust is too much on a 3rd Gen?

A lot of the 3rd Gen's I have seen recently have rust showing through at least the back bumper, if not both bumpers. It looks to be reasonably common among 3rd Gen's... ?

Also, what about the frames?

What does a BAD frame or underside look like? Anyone have any photos?

I have seen a couple with some rust in the frame, but most of them only have some minor rust along some of the corners in the frame.

Surface rust on the frame isn't the worst thing. If it has holes or sounds hollow (thin), then you have issues.
