2nd gen. factory roof rack

I have seen some 2nd gen. 4runners around with a factory roof rack and was wondering what years came with these so I can call some wreckers and find one if there cheap enough. Otherwise ill prob. go with q-towers. Also if I use the factory rack is there something i can add to it so i can make a full length rack or will i just have to go with full aftermarketrack?
Thanks

I have the factory roof rack, and I have a 90. However, a nice alternative is to look for the old sst towers and y-13 clips from Yakima. It will save you alot. I just bought the setup for $30. They are somewhat hard to find,( the y-13 clips), but the sst towers are always on ebay. Check around at some bike shops, alot of them may have the older clips still in stock. Check with Yakima as well. They have a list of dealers who may have the old clips. Check thule, they might have the same kind of thing. Again, Ebay is a great place to start. Cheers!!

The factory rack was available for all 2nd Gen's it was just an extra option that not all of em came with. The ones that have the rack probably have a sunroof, leather, rear heater, rear wind deflector, and the chrome trim around the fenders as well.
