Sell my Limited wheels which I am whole-heartedly in love with and get either the Land Cruiser wheels from Filthy or the M/T Classic II's from SummitRacing...or pay the $250 to get the shaved upper a-arms from Sonoran Steel...geez!

LOL....ive been in the same boat. I love the limited wheels too as well as the BFG MTs...but looking at Eric's rig, I had to get the FZJ80 wheels with the nitto terra grapplers. Not many people have the FZJ80 wheels and its still a Toyota wheel. I say go with the FZJ80 wheels if filthy is selling them.

Guys buying new wheels = girls buying shoes. LOL

So you're running the FZJ-80 wheels right now too? I really want some center caps with em though...for some reason the no center cap thing just doesn't do it for me.

Wow...this is hard!

LOL...i would of thought of something more clever, but I have a presentation i have to prepare for and an exam...I HATE FINALS!!!!!

I am going to be running the FZJ80 wheels soon. Dont get me wrong, if the limiteds were 16x8 w/4.5 backspacing, they would still be on.

I wanted to run 285s w/o any rubbing, so i got the FZJ80s

Course this is another option...get some wheel spacers from Marlin.

http://www.marlincrawler.com/wheelspacers.html

That would let me keep my limiteds, save me from having to get new a-arms and then if some Lexus rims come up in the near future I'd only be out about $85.

thats a possibility. With the status of whether or not wheel spacers are good or bad, i decided to avoid them. ANd plus, I liked the thought of having new wheels. I decided to justify it as being my early x-mas present to myself

Yeah...I dunno.

Do you think the M/T's would look too bling bling?

Honestly, I would lean more towards the FZJ80 wheels if they had center caps...the no center caps thing would clash with the clean look of my Runner.

well i dont think not having center caps should be the deciding factor... i think both the lx and fzj80 wheels look AWESOME and i think they'd look great on your 4runner. you can always keep an eye out for center caps on ebay too.

Well it's not really the deciding factor. It will depend on what Steve says in response to my email about the shaved a-arms and what Filthy says...he may not even have them up for sale yet.

Dang, I don't know what to do! I just want my Mudders on here man, it looks SOOO puny with these little street tires on it..lol.

You got it, that's exactly what I'm doing. Go right ahead and chat away, this will make a good thread for people later on. Fink, get the LC wheels, you won't regret it. The look factory and yet still set you apart. They look 100 times better than any bling bling aftermarket wheels, they push the tires out a bit to give a good mean stance. You can get some Toy centercaps off e-bay(get the crap ones) cheep and paint them yourself. Your LTD wheels will sell fast, mine were honestly gone in 30 mins. (scouts honor) and with the new owner the same day my LExus wheels went on.

So the center caps can be had pretty easily and you would highly recommend these wheels? Course you say that, you got the rims you wanted so you're all set! Haha.

Hmm...I sent FilthyRich a PM about them, hasn't gotten back to me yet so we'll see.

Thanks for the reply Stump!

Ohhh, ahhhh, you want the LC wheels, you can't resist. Don't worry Eric will get back to you ASAP. He's a great guy and will do business as fast as you can put up with.

Man that looks great. Can you take a pic from the front to show the difference they made with the limited flares? Those are 285's correct?

There are some options. Especially since you love the Limited wheels. You can go with some wheel spacers, LC wheels, MT IIs, or you can call OMF and see how much to widen the 16x7s. I think calrockx paid $900 to have his wheels powdercoated, widened and beadlocked.

It is another option to replacing wheels.

Andy's pic shows pretty much the same stance mine does, all my pics have the wheels turned a bit so you can't get a good idea of what they do. These things are sweet, plus your joining an elite club of people with LC of Lexus wheels, don't you wanna be part of the "cool kids".

OK, got a PM from Filthy. He said he's only got 3 and one of them is a spare and is in really bad shape and won't match the rest.

Here are my options that I can think of as of now:

1) Wheel spacers from Marlin (1" $85/pair) temporarily until I can find the Lexus wheels.

2) Permanently use wheel spacers from Marlin.

3) Sell Limiteds and get the M/T Classic II's.

As of now those are really my only options.

I am currently in contact with an EBay store called Colorado Wheel Company, they sell quality OEM wheels. I have told them I am really in need of some Lexus LX450 wheels and to let me know when she gets them.

What years were these wheels on the 450's or 470's? 4.5" backspacing, 16x8" 6 lug on 5.5 correct?

I figure if anybody can get a hold of some its these people, I bought a spare Limited wheel from them and it was in absolutely PERFECT shape.

Let me know what you guys think I should do or if you know of anywhere I can get some Lexus wheels.

Thanks,

Fink
