That thing is pretty clean. It would be interesting to see what he did with the electronics.

This is supposedly the Peterson's crew new project which has been featured in the magazines..

This is another SAS'd FJ featured in the above tundra forums...

Very interesting.

Lots of people have said it is impossible but it seems like if you just replaced the 01/02 wire harness and computer with a non abs 96 harness you could do it. The engines are the same. You would loose VSC, TRAC and ABS but with an SAS'd rig who cares.

Actually those 2 FJ's are one in the same. It is the "Ultimate Adventure FJ". It started out yellow and then it was repainted.

I don't think anybody said it was impossible. The big trick everybody has been trying to figure out (me included) is how to do a SAC and keep the VSC, TRAC, and ABS.

I know the DO guys with Wyatt's 05 and the UA FJ team have had to do some computer tricks. Last I heard Wyatt had someone that figured out everything for the VSS on his 05.

yeah...when the eventual day comes that i'll SAS my 4runner, i'd love to keep the vsc, trac, and abs sytems. sure they're no fun offroad, but they work on the street. a no-compromises sas would be ideal, but not expected.

Does everyone have the same problems with the earlier model 3rd gens say 97 or 98? I have been thinking seriously about this maybe next winter.
