Where's the fun in that? My Osterizer will kick your Hamilton Beach's butt... you name the camp and we can have the blender off... hehehhe The spectators will have to keep up with margarita's as they come out of the blenders...

Did someone say "Tequila"? It would be a blast to watch, but I'll take mine without the blender though

Agreed... I was thinking that I might switch over to being a spectator so someone else doesn't have to do that dirty job...

Baja,

Don't you have a new freezer in the back that could be used to keep things nice and cold?

Yessir - and after we have been out in the boonies for 2 or 3 days, and The Mad Chemist and WATRD run out of cubed ice, we can MAKE MORE! Bottomless margaritas!

15.5 gallons should get us through the weekend, don't you think?

But, remind me to tape off the transfer switch so I don't waste perfectly good Takillya by pumping it into my main tank...

Fill-ups could get pretty expensive.

fyi, this may help:

The Osterizer RULZ! There's not an HB blender around that can keep up with a classic 2-speed bar blender!

So Rob, do you use a stainless or glass vessel?

And you guys MIGHT just have to get exposed to Fuzzy Rum Drinks. It's a special blend of mine - and it may just put you down faster than Rob's Margs!

Now, if I hadn't of screwed up and ordered an open ball tire chuck instead of a closed ball... ARGH!

I could have sworn that I clicked on "closed ball"!

Any ideas on a local source for them? I hate to pay $7 shipping on a $6 part...

I am thinking that chart must be for solid wire, not stranded because the capacities are much lower than I see elsewhere.

Mine is currently glass, but I would like to replace it with stainless for the trail

It sounds like we will have no shortage of folks who can act as mixologist in camp...

I shopped around and the only source I found for a chuck that locks on is NAPA.

I suppose it's no worse than the guy I keep bumping into who built out his toolbox to act as an ice chest. He's got a drain stopcock in the bottom and in one side he can drop in a pony keg, cover it with ice and hook it up to a tap that sticks out the side. Look for him on the Naches, I see him a couple of times a year up there.
