X2 I was just thinking, right before reading that, "Maybe get a nice straight bumper and cut out the area where the pipes go..... just keep in mind, if you get hit, those pipes are possibly dust, either way, ya know? But, if you have the bumper come out a bit, then have cut outs for it, ....might just work, ya know? Even a stock bumper might work for cutting out. Maybe find one at the J-yard?

What kind of wheels you picking up?
That volvo bite really doesn't look too bad in the bigger pics. Looks like it could pop out with a little bit of bondo to finish.

And yeah, the bed is on a 91 pickup, which is the same body style as your 93. The guy sells the whole truck but will part out, he's asking $750 for the whole truck. I asked him to email me a couple pics to check for dings/rust you kno.

I completely agree! 15 year olds an their spray cans!

A little update...........or, should i say:big update???

Rocked the stock look for a while...........but that got old pretty quick

Saved my money up and blew it on this instead of tuition.........

Well see how the 4.10s handle, if they suck 4.88s are sitting on the backyard...

A couple of teaser pics...

The 33s next to my old 32s

32s on stock suspension...

The 33s are easily over an inch taller...theres no way they will fit stock... body lift going in as well.. and for anything else

Hey. I live in Hanover too. I'm a parent though. Friday about 5:30 I saw a red extra-cab with huge tires in the bed heading north from Virginia Center Commons. I was betting to myself it was you. You have a nice truck. The old ones are getting scarce around here. I have the one in my avatar and just got a white 89 4Runner that I'm doing body work on. Mostly I rock a minivan.:wabbit:

Yup, that was me!! Should have said hi!!
I was gonna have a bud mount them but he couldn't.
Took them to Merchants Tire, behind macdonalds, for mount and balance. Only two though because they won't fit on the front without a lift.

Yeah, these old trucks are getting rare. I take care of my old toy but it's not exactly as perfect as the pics show. Me too, I'm either in my moms van or the celica(pics are in my albums). I try to keep the truck at home but sometimes my dad sneaks it out.

Sweet third gen!! That will be by next ride, hopefully.
So would your 89 runner be a first gen(removable top) or second gen?
Somewhere along that year they switched. Body work, huh? You know how to do that? My next move on the truck is paint but first I gotta straighten dents and remove all rust on the body: which is alot ( I counted about 15 dings on one side!!!) I took collision repair back in high school so I learned a little something.( Got a certification) Always wanted to take the truck in but I couldn't because of lack of funds and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the truck with the dumb noobs. (I caught one banging on the wheel studs of a customer car with a hammer! Of course, when we tried to put the tire back on it would not line up! I noticed a wobble on it as it drove off!) Just the thought of that turned my stomach.

Halfway

Did a little work to it... Can you spot the difference?

This thing looks huge!! And to think i'm planning on BJ spacers & 63" Chevies. I think i can clear 35s!! Seriously!!

The other two...just chillin...waiting on me to finish the lift so they can tear it up!!

These tire will definitely need 4:88s!! Around town i didn't notice much difference but in the highway it was a different story. No Guts!! I could not get it past 65 or hold 5th gear on slight inclines GRRRR....

Hopefully Ill finish the lift this weekend, get the other 2 tires mounted and start swapping the 4:88s!!
