Well finally got around to installing the new dome light:
I also went to change the oil today and discovered a few problems:
1:
and 2:
looks to me that that small hose down there may be leaking so im gonna replace that along with some new front shocks

wow dude i just read through your entire build thread and WOW its super nice! i wish my '90 will look that good some day. Also just saw that pic of the broken shock and mine broke in the same exact place on the left rear. also running the same tires (brand new) How do these tires wear? (for road use) b/c i love them for offroading ! they go anywhere. Also what brand of shocks do you plan on getting?

well i finally got my shocks and had time to put them on yesterday along with new tie rod ends all the way around. I decided to go with some napa oespectrums, I got them on sale so thats why I went with them. I also replaced the leaking hose as well.

Man I haven't been on here much the last year or so, but anyways not much has changed on the truck. I have upgraded the headlights with some Hella e-codes with Philips diamond vision bulbs and also replaced the cheap old walmart offroad and foglights with a led lightbar and led pods off of amazon.
And now for the big news, At 218,000+ miles my front suspension is completely beaten and worn out making all sorts of noises going over the smallest of bumps. I have been wanting to lift my truck for a while now and as I was talking to my good friend about it we both came to the conclusion that my front end was going to need a lot of work. I've always kinda played around with the idea of a sas for my truck and I jokingly said "maybe I should just sas it!" and then he remembered that he has a friend that works with him (at a diesel truck shop if anyone cares) thats a big old school toyota guy and that he had something that i might would be interested in! And flash forward to now i have acquired this
Ended up getting the axle for $100 so it looks like I'm gonna be SAS'ing my truck! I've also got plans to have another friend of mine to help me build a custom front tube bumper and sliders So it looks like I'm gonna be very busy the next couple of months and will be back on here frequently!

Chop it and swap it!!! Looking forward to the build. What size springs and tires you shooting for? I've got "4 marlins on both mine, one still has the 31's and 36's under the '85/'93 hybrid (mutt lol).

Thanks! I'm planning on running the 3" trail gear kit on 35's, still haven't decided if i want to get the 3" trail gear rear springs to match or go with 63' chevy's

I liked not altering my factory mounting points since it wasn't a sas truck. My TSL Q78-16LT (35.5" tall) fit really nice under the 4" springs. Still factory in the rear with 2" blocks. Hope it's going well, still waiting for more Yota porn! ;-)
