^ If they can withstand the weight of the whole side of your rig, they should be able to hold 400 pounds
Sub'ed BTW. This is another one of those threads that I can't believe I haven't found until now...
EDIT: I almost crapped myself laughing at that Ace Ventura GIF. I'm saving that for future use

Lucked out big time at the upullit today. A 98 4runner limited has been there for about 2 weeks and I never looked at the rear diff since every 4runner/truck are pulled by the time I get there. Well today I checked and the diff is still in. Not only that but its an elocker. After closer inspection the motor was smashed and wires were cut. It was rock solid as well, wouldn't budge. I tried jacking up the diff and nothing. Beat it with a 2x4 and still nothing. I finally got it loose with an axle from a Montero. 67 dollars later I must say it was a good day.

after the zuk mod
one problem i have encountered with this setup. i used the 5in OD springs so i didnt have to cut the bump stops. the spring on the passenger side rubs on the tire so unfortunately i will not be able to utilize this setup for long since i want to run bigger tires anyway. these are hankook 285/70/17s and it looks so good
