I've been a bad Yota owner Was out of state for 3 weeks in training in southeast georgia. Just got back last saturday. Was gonna work on getting last spot welds drilled tuesday but the joy of jet lag hit me hard then and I was lazy. Been spending time with wife since I've been back. Bathroom floor is done, thanks to In-Law and wife I dont know how to tile and prob will never try to learn. But will be working on the truck Tuesday, might get out there tomorrow tho too. Starting to think the eclipes seats might not be best option. Might looks for some yota buckets to swap but not sure yet. Will prob mess with it on tuesday after supports swapped.

Dont blame you on doing tile work. Just not much into home repair until just pushed into it. Dont know if you are still using drill bits to get the spot welds or using a spot weld cutter. I got one from Harbor Freight for cheap and it makes cutting spot welds so much easier. Well worth the investment.

I do find it helps to punch a small dent in the spot weld for the cutter to stay centered where you want it.

I just bolted my core support in. I got the idea from a friend of mine when his son wrecked his truck and had to replace the front end on it. He hasnt had any issues in 5 years with it and if you ever need to pull the drive train, it makes so much easier and quicker. Air conditioning could be a problem if it is charged. Otherwise it is a nice setup.

On the radiator, I dont think I have ever had one that didnt need the brackest rebrazed. While it is out, I would try to have it power flushed as they have a lot of gunk in them. The Preston kit wont clean it that good. You are getting there.

I just used bolts to. The AC wasnt a issue during tare down but when I was reconnecting lines yesterday I bent and it broke on the front condenser. So will look at getting replacement condenser. Hoping to hit the yard in next couple weeks to get hood at least. Gonna try working on interior this week and finish installing bucket seats.

Bucket seats

Here they are. Gonna put some covers over them eventually. They seem a little high but maybe cause I was so use to the worn out bucket and the fact that Im 6'3". Used some steel putty stuff for a temp hold on passenger side bracket. Gonna try to weld it sometime in the next week.

Heater control fix

About 6 years ago I noticed my vent control select slide wouldnt slide. It wasnt a big deal because I only used it in the went and it was set between floor vent and defrost, so the truck was still warm and window was defrosted. So I finally decided to fix it. Used a small machine screw and nut and 2 homemade rectangle washers out of thin copper pipe I faltened then drilled a small hole in.
The little white plastic piece was what the problem was. It was old and fatigued plastic. So popped it out.

Homemade washer

Tested it and it worked great. Didnt get no other pics of it that day. Wife was waiting on me to get cleaned up so we could head out for dinner.
