Well here are the promised updates i have the front hanger welded on and the passenger side frame plates welded on and i didnt take a picture but the shakle tubes are in the frame.

This place seems to be dead around here well if anyone at all is still watching then here she is on her own feet as of tonight.
Doing this by myself sucked but i got her going.

lots of guys run their shackles like that around here and i have drove a truck almost identicle to mine that has their shackle like that and i should be fine.

That angle looks really relaxed, not a bad thing as long as it cycles properly. How much room between the leaf and the frame? Got a droop shot? Keep us posted!

For future reference, always place the tube as far forward in the body mount framing (no need at all to cut the framing out) ..then place the hangar where you need it by tacking it in place where you think you want it, then allowing the axle to fully droop so you get a nice barely negative shackle angle. You want that shackle near vertical on droop to allow for the maximum amount of droop, going a little negative helps with the longer springs so theres enough back swing action of the shackle to allow the spring to go flat without it going so far the spring end hits the frame (bottoming out)... and also having the shackle to far back and it so negative on droop means the spring will flatten out at a relatively mild shackle angle not allowing the spring to actually physically go higher (more tire stuff)

nope just twice i put them back in the first holes and put all the trucks weight on it and its verticle with brand new springs and i have a V6 so it should kick back in a good month of driving and wheeling
