Ok, Played with the paint some more, think it's done now. Note the stripes that take away your eyes from seeing the crappy hurried welds at the bob. lol
4.88s are in, Aussie lockers front and rear. High steer is in.
I've taken it out twice now and all I can say is WOW! What a huge difference from stock 4.10s and open diffs!

Lift and steering
What and how much front lift do you have? And which high steer do you have? Any issues with high steer and small lift clearing the oil pan.

That is/was a Subaru emblem on the front. Totally screwed with people. The guy at the emmissions place thought it was a BRAT and started lining me up for a front wheel drive dino. lol It says HILUX now.
The lift is a 3 inch or so, 33s.
The high steer clears fine, I love it. Steering is like butter now. I bought it from Marlin Crawler.
Painted the wheels black, here is is with my daily driver.

^ . . .Hit the nail on the head. I did it on the passenger side of the bed too, but painted over most of it. You can still see the bit on the tail, and the ghost striped show thru the tan when you look close. I used my laser to get the lines straight.
Not too many people will ever get the Baltar reference. lol

A short video showing what it's all good for:

. I won't drive it more than 50 miles unless there's a trail at the end of the road. I've wheeled it A LOT, but am gentle with it for the most part. I love my truck, I think it loves me back.

One thing I will never stop loving is how my old 1985 Toyota pickup with roughly 120ish horse power has six lugs, and how there are so many much larger trucks and SUVs nowadays with a lot more power that only have five lugs.

Haven't done much in the way of working on it, but I have been wheeling it. This is a bit old video now, but whatever.
The Jeep before me had failed and fallen off of the little ledge I had to work off of. He wound up pinned under a tree, we had to winch him out.
