[QUOTE=775Toy;51905057]Great progress ! Frame looks awesome . Good choice on davez , going to be making a order to them this or next week. I'm Jelous of the tires. I need some before I mount new wheels.[/QUOTE

Thanks man ive been trying to get as much done as possibly with this weather. Frame does look better then i thought it would. Davez had the best customer service and fastest shipping so ive been using them. picked up the rims/tires for $500 used, sounded like a good deal, just worried about the back spacing because i really like these wheels. whats a good b.s. for stock 85 axles? been keepin an eye on your build i like how you notched the frame for the pitman arm pretty cool.

Back space is pretty much depends on personal Opinion . Most stockers are around 4.5" backspace. I personally like the 3.75 bs but got a great deal on some 4" be soft 8s so I picked them up. 4.5" bs is ok for most but I like a little wider stance . 2" be just looks silly to me and are hard on wheel bearings. I'm planning on running its fronts which widens the front end up 3" so 1.5" on each side along with a ifs rear diff which is also 3" wider to give me a wider stance and better brakes.

Ya dude that's a great offset. Especially with those wide tires it will help you not hit leaf springs at full turn. Those wheels with ifs brakes and ifs rear housing you will have a nice stable stance.

As long as its a 4cyl Ifs housing the whole 3rd will drop In. If its a 6cyl housing you will need the 6cyl carrier and just put your ring and pinion on the 6cyl carrier. 4 and 6cyl carrier bolt pattern is off a lil or the carrier bearing size if different ? Can't quite remember. But ring and pinion size is the same 8". I'm sure a little google search will clear it up for ya.
