That thing looks clean. Great job. That is a color I really would of like to do, just didnt want to have to do jams and engine compartment.
Always like seeing a clean runner on the road.

For those who want to see how the ARB bumper gets installed. Not many pics out there and the Aussie instructions are well, not good.
Remove old bumper and loosen the front leaf pins and hammer them flush with the hanger plate so the bumper can slide next to it.

OK NEED HELP. They guy helping me install the lift is saying I need a different J Arm for my steering. At full droop it "binds" he says. I was told by the ARB rep and several other Yotatech members that because I was putting on a stock OME lift, I shouldn't need to modify the steering at all. Does anyone out there know what he's talking about?
Said the stock sway bar wont work either. Do I need an adapter kit for the original sway bar to work? Do I need the sway bar at all? 65% road and 35% trail.

Guys at marlin said high steer won't work with just a 2.5 inch lift. They drag the top of the leaf springs ? I don't know. I'm going to run it around and let the springs settle in and then re-evaluate

Here's the boy with new shoes and legs. ˟I have to figure out a steering solution. ˟I'm getting all kinds of different advice on the HIGH STEER option. ˟A rep at Marlin is saying the Old Man Emu lift is NOT tall enough for high steer but I know several of you out there have done it. ˟The stock J Arm steering setup sucks bad for bigger, heavy lifted rigs. ˟When I push on the brakes the truck veers to the right but the steering wheel stays straight. ˟I'm guessing the J Arm and/or drag link is flexing like crazy. ˟I'm sure my old brakes aren't helping but it also has some ghost steering while going straight. Didn't do that with the old lift and tires a week ago. ˟Was perfect.

Looks sick man. How much was ur ARB front bumper? Do they weigh much? I've been thinking about getting an ARB front bumper but a few people told me they weigh a ton and will slow the 22re down like no other. Where did you get it??

Hoss, IT LOOKS GREAT! Sorry bout the steering, ...no help here with SFA woes, sorry. When I had steering gremlins, taking off on it's own, etc., it was the gear box failing, ....and NOOOOOO, I'm not saying that's likely... far more likely, actually, that you're dealing with issues do to the changes. I just mention it cuz mine came after doing a bit of work up front and some flushing of the system. Ask Wabbit to cruise over and lend ya a couple cents? lol.

Looks Nice man...throw the sway bar as far away from you as you can...you dont need it. I drive my truck 20 miles everyday to work and never thought for a second about putting it back on. And well for the steering...I know u can get away with high steer with those OME leafs if ur running at least a 5" shackle up front(stock is 3.5")...thats exactly how my truck is set up. Good luck...sweet 4runner.
