You should check out race-dezert.com There are always 3.4 engines on there. I will copy paste the few that I have recently seen. Also going rate is around 750-1000 for just the engine. I got one a year ago for $800 from a Salvage yard. If you are willing to travel to Orange County and Montclair, you can try Ferman's Mini Truck (714)554-1391 in Santa Ana or California Mini Trucks in Montclair (909)622-1381. Hope This helps.
