Bump for a great deal! Wow, I can't believe you are getting rid of the trailer. This is a great price, I am building a trailer from a M416 and I don't think I will get it done for less than that trailer.

I have been ask if I would sell the trailer by itself and the answer is yes. I have $4500 in the trailer and I would let it go for that. You can't build one for that. Just trying to get these sold so I can start looking for a new project.

Sale Pending Thanks for looking...........Trailer and tent is also sold but I can get them made. If you are interested in either one let me know. Tents will be the new generation style which looks like the EZ-awn.

Sorry to see it go
I am sorry to see your runner go. I am in the slow process of building my 92 Runner very similar to yours. The lack of $$$ and all my time spent on college has pretty much slowed the build up to a snails pace. I have done many basic mods and I have a trailer that I plan to build up when $$ and time permits. Your build has been an inspiration for some of my own ideas. Can't wait to see the new project.

I am glad that so many have used my 4runner build for their own inspiration. I am leaning very heavy on an '97 80 series for the next build. It just fits my plans better than a 4th gen or an FJ Cruiser. Last year for the Solid Axle too. I will post up when I have made the move. Good luck with your mods and let me know if I can help in any way.

I didn't think this would be around long. Hope you found a good home for them. Maybe I'll see you over on Mud more often -- I absolutely love my FZJ80. They're at least as fanatical about their Land Cruisers over there as the 4Runner crowd is here. Good information and support on both sites.

I was surprised how fast the deal came together. It was a killer price for the complete setup so I guess I should have expected it to sell fsat. I will be on Mud more for sure. I just put a bid in on a FJ40 so I am keeping my fingers crossed. If it doesn't happen than I am back to the 80 search. Did you sell yours yet?

Phil, I was on the last leg of a cross-country roadtrip when lo-and-behold I spotted your 4Runner + Trailer making it's way up the I-55N! I was sitting shotgun so when I yelled out "HOLY CRAP! IT'S STRAP'S 4RUNNER!" the driver kinda freaked out
The people driving it didn't know how to use the CB

That's funny.....They had a good trip back and the sale went very well. I couldn't be there when they picked it because I had to fly home to Pa.. My mother had a massive strike on Thursday and Passed away on Sunday. Glad I could be there to say my goodbyes before she passed. I am sure he will be very happy with the old runner. He is sending some pictures from the trip and I will post them.
