How long are the H3 bulbs? Might add a set to my hella 500's. I know the Hella's are about 2" from back to front, maybe a little more.

Let me know Cam...

Also I sent you a PM in regards to my bulbs.

Josh

Woody, could take some pics of where and how you mounted the ballast?

Mounting of Ballast

So I only have one picture during installation, and it's too cold to go outside and take more. But in this picture you can see I had limited space to mount so I just put it up on top of the fuse block. This was prior to the final installation, so all the wires are tucked in and wrapped. So, really it's not this messy. The drivers side I mounted to the inside fender since I have a cold air intake and don't have the stock airbox.

Hope this helps. If you look further down in the forum, you'll see the last run. Look for the end of post, I posted the entire install.

Yep, just make sure you guys mount it in a cool spot. Otherwise, they should be in good shape because they are shock proof/waterproof/and I guess cold proof.

I am currently in 0 and slightly below zero degree weather (The joys of living in MN) and my lights have lit without problem.

If all goes to schedule, I should get them sometime the week of the 3rd. (Feb 3-9). I'll let you guys know if they give me any update (kits shipped, etc).

Also,

I have two kits for sale:
-H4, Moving Bixenon, 8000k
-H3, Single Beam, 8000k

Let me know if you're interested.

So ur not using anything to hold down the ballast directly? Are you just relying on the stiffness of the cable to hold the ballast on top of the fuse box?
