404.1.1 1956 Unimog FS or Trade
I bought this bad boy on an implse and have decided its not something I have time to appreciate. I would rather have something smaller or put the money into my DD. The seller has done a basic tune up as far as hoses, brakes, and other basics. It was actually a daily driver in the past and has approximately 50k miles on it. The retarded K&N snorkel thing has been replaced with a stock oil bath intake. I will admit I dont know a lot about UNIMOGs and cant tell you much about it, but Kurt at UNIMOGs West could. It currently resides in Grass Valley CA, and has never even been shipped down to me. I can tell you that Kurt is a great guy to deal with and could probably answer any questions about it, If there are any questions I will gladly contact him and clarify things with the potential buyer. It is current on registration and apparently drives great. The tires have about 80% tread left, plus a spare.
If you want to arrange to pick it up you can have it for $4500, if you want it shipped to you I will split the difference. To have it shipped to San Diego it was going to cost me about $600. I spent about $400 a;ready for a basic tune up.
I might be open to trades for anything of equal value with a solid axle and street legal, such as 85 Toyota or maybe a Jeep. Already slightly built.
Call (858) 337-5338 ask for Zach.

update
Sorry to be a total ass but I need to change my tune here...
I am no longer offering to split shipping.
I would also like closer to 4800 OBO for the mog, and trust me im still losing money after buying it and re selling it to you. If you have a good trade the price becomes irrelevant and flexible but flat out I would like to not loose as much money on the thing. I would love a 85 yota or runner, who wouldnt right? Im very open to trades...
