Depends. Are the tires 15 or 16"?
 but yes. Generally you want to stay within 4" of width, and not within 1", i.e., dont put 12.5s on 12" wide rims. Its possible, but can be harmful to the tire and may not bead up correctly.

I have 39.5x13.50x15 on a 15x8
It will be fine.
