A/T= All terrain? What about A/P

I am looking at some tires...I need some good traction, but good on the freeway. Does anyone know what A/P stands for? The tread doesn't look as agressive as A/T...say like the BFG's....is it all purpose???

Never heard of that, but I'd recommend going w/the most aggressive AT.

That would be my guess...all purpose.

Go to an America's tire / discount Tire and talk to someone there. FoCo has good guys at Discount Tire...I promise!

They are knowledgable and they can make a good recommendation. If you are looking for a good all terrain that is good on the highway, I would recommend the Pathfinder All Terrain. Similar to the BFG all terrain but not as knobby...Trust me.

They have a quite nice compound (quiet on the road) and bite very well , I havn't used on a Yota but have on '95 4WD Jimmy SLS I have they seem to track and bite when you need them too nicely and I have never had a problem with snow with them either - pulling lots of folks outta ditches
Thats what I do when it snows here , I go play and pull poor little souls outta the ditch for fun , got 2 30' straps and a couple of shakles and good to go .
I could make some money I guess but I do it for fun and community service
