there's a 3rd gen runner around here with those 5 stars painted black and they look decent, because the truck is black as well and he did the whole black out look. he has them gloss black, not flat black.

the flat black wheels on a vehicle of color, even if powder coated, look too much like a rattle can curbside job. your original wheels look better to me. i'd stick with the 5 star in original finish if i were to go with those.

but the problem i have with stock wheels is i prefer wheels to be offset for a good "deep dish" look on the outside. stock wheels look too flat. the only way to get the beefy look with the factory wheels is to use spacers. but if you don't have a problem with that, then stick with the 5stars in original finish.

or...if you want to get fancy, just paint the inside of the 5star, have the raised edge of the star and the outer lip polished, and use chrome lugs not black.

you guys are cool here. by the way, nice rims. let me take some notes. by the way, for a 4x4 wheel, how when can you say it's worth the buy? cause mine's a little rusty now.

my 0.02 I'd say with your colour stay away from the black rims it does'nt look right... kinda like you had to cheap out on rims... I'd go with the MBs or the 5stars in stock colour [if you want to stick to a factory rim] but the MBs look better imo...
